The Bokeh Lane Experience

We love love

One of the best parts of being wedding photographers is getting to know all of the incredible individuals who make up our Bokeh Lane Photography brides and grooms. Learning about you as individuals, as a couple and then having the honor of documenting your wedding day is amazing.

Frequantly Asked Questions

Are you insured?

Yes, we can email proof of insurance to your venue if needed.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, we love to travel! Contact us so we can provide you with a custom quote for your destination wedding! *We currently do not charge travel fees for weddings located in the Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, and the areas surrounding these cities.

Do you photograph anything outside of weddings?

Yes! Aside from weddings, we photograph an array of couple sessions, family sessions, we do corporate headshots, and cover corporate events. Visit www.bokehlane.com to see more of our work.

How do I book my wedding date?

To officially book your wedding date we ask for a signed contract that books us as your official wedding photographer and your paid retainer. Our retainer is 50% of your total wedding packge price with the remaining 50% paid one week prior to your wedding date.

How does image delivery work?

An average wedding can expect to receive 50-100 images per hour of photographing. We deliver your wedding to you within 4-6 weeks and about 1-2 weeks after your engagement session via an online gallery with direct download. Your private online gallery allows you to favorite, organize, and download your images from your computer or your phone. We will use the same gallery throughout the whole wedding process from the delivery of your engagement and wedding photos to the creation of your album.

What if the weather is terrible on my wedding day?

I can't tell you how many times I've received this panicked night before text, "OMG, it's going to be cloudy/rainy tomorrow and we planned all outdoor photos! Will it be bright enough, do you have umbrellas, what do we do?!". It's going to be ok, yes, there is enough light, yes, we have umbrellas and we're going to take a deep breath. People often think that the best time for photos is in bright sunny weather and although beautiful in person, the direct sunlight causes harsh shadows on your face, which is less than ideal for gorgeous natural evenly lit photos. To reassure our brides and grooms, we let them know throughout the whole planning proccess that clouds are good and if it rains on your wedding day, that's good luck! Don't stress about the weather, we'll get gorgeous portraits of you no matter what! There is always somwhere to take photos and night shots in the rain is what movies are made about. If this isn't what you envisioned or you don't want to get your dress wet, that's fine too, we offer a free of charge bridal session to the bride and groom to get the wedding portraits they always dreamed of!

How would you describe your photography style?

Our style is clean and modern with a pop of color, but still classic and elegant, like Chanel or Vueve Cliquet. We aren't bright and airy or dark and moody, we are authentic and vibrant. We focus on genuine moments that way when you look back at your wedding photos they take you back. We want you to see the colors, smell the smells, hear the music, and feel what you felt in that moment. Our goal is to capture the true essence of your wedding day through the candid, authentic moments with a couple kisses and tears along the way.
